Permanent Hair Reduction is sometimes called Laser Hair Reduction or Laser Hair Removal.  You may have also heard of another form of permanent hair reduction that uses IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) instead of laser.  Although, they are not exactly the same, they do achieve the same results - Less Hair!  Our office uses a laser for our hair reduction services.

The best candidates for Laser Hair Reduction have light skin and dark hair. But, if you are somewhere in the middle we will cover that at the consultation.   Laser's target for hair reduction is the melanin (pigment) in the hair and bulb.  The darker the hair the more energy it absorbs and the better results you will get.

Treatments are generally done every 4 -6 weeks depending on the area being treated. A minimum of 6 treatments is recommended, although, more could be necessary.
